I'm Maryana, a Director & occasional Producer passionate about music, live entertainment and visual storytelling.
From playing piano and singing to discovering artists across cultures, I've always imagined music through visuals. Hailing from Ukraine with Persian roots and living in different countries has shaped my appreciation for diverse musical styles and creative perspectives.
As a director, I love translating music into cinematic, playful and intimate visuals, capturing the energy of choreography, the atmosphere of live audiences and the emotions that connect performers with viewers at home.
My career spans short films, music videos and major international productions, including Eurovision, Super Bowl Halftime Show and BTS's Netflix comeback special. Working alongside established directors in broadcast galleries as a LiveEdit Producer and Director's Assistant has given me a strong creative and technical foundation that I bring to my own directing work.
You'll probably hear me laughing before you see me! I'm easy-going, curious and love collaborating, exchanging ideas and keeping things fun, even under pressure.
Based in London, but am wherever music is.
